About me
Katie Tamblin peaked in high school. As Northeast Georgia player of the year in Volleyball, starting center on a top-ranked basketball team, second in state in the women's open 400m, straight-A student, and homecoming queen, it was always going to be downhill from there. Despite this, over the following 20 years, she managed to develop a niche expertise in data management and software development for supply chain systems. So, she's got that going for her, which is nice.
Today, Katie is a data and software advisor, providing consultancy services and training to business leaders and investors. She is Chief Product Officer and a Board Member at Alcumus Group. Katie advises startups and private equity investors on best practice in product management. She was previously a member of the Executive Leadership Team of Achilles Information Ltd. Prior to working at Achilles, Katie was Director of Supply Chain Solutions at IHS Markit, now part of S&P Global. She has experience leading product, data science, technology and marketing teams in her 20+ year career.

Katie has experience driving development of new product and pricing architecture in the context of transformational technology projects. She has worked in all levels of major data and software businesses, starting her career as an entry-level analyst and working her way up to executive leader.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from Wake Forest University and a Master of Public Policy in International Development and Environmental Policy from Georgetown University.
